The Main Street Stage surely has Something for Everyone! And the
FREE
entertainment is continuous during Festival hours. Past performances have included Country Bands, Magicians, Individual Instrumentalists, Classic Ensembles, Rock Bands, Storytellers, Choruses, Dancers, Puppeteers, and much, much more.

Friday April 27

1-3 pm
Marko the Magician - Magic and Hypnosis Show - Marko has performed all over the US, with his unique blend of magic and audience participation. He also has a world famous hypnosis show to amaze you and make you believe in the power of suggestion in your life.

4-6 pm
Dark Horse - This is Dark Horse’s first appearance with the VMF, and we are proud to have them bring their country music to our Main St. Stage. Check them out on their Facebook page.

 

Saturday April 28

10-11:30 am
Electric Youth Dance Company - Cheryl Ann Kelley has a large group of kids of all ages, who study dance here in St. Albans, and who will dance their way into your heart.

11:30-12:45
Bill Shontz - Family Entertainment, Bill is the true troubadour of music for
kids of all ages, with his one man band of music and storytelling. One half of the classic duo of Rosenshontz, Bill is a favorite all over the United States.

1-2:30 pm
The Joe Levesque Big Band - the Joe Levesque Band will play swing music with a 16 piece band with vocals. The music is a mix of old and new and in-between. The Joe Band played many years on the Spirit of Ethan Allen and has a large contingency of St. Albans musicians.

3-3:40 pm
Vermont Maple Festival Youth Talent Show performers - The stage will showcase young musicians and performers who were featured in the Youth Talent Show.

4-6 pm
Prydelin - Vermonts own original Scottish rock band. With 2 albums to their credit, Prydelin is a wonderful take on original interpretations of rock and celtic music. This is their second appearance with the Vermont Maple Festival.

Sunday April 29

11 am -12pm
Smokey Newfield Project - The Smokey Newfield Project is a new band
to the local music scene. First established 18 years, the group welcomes
new membership and a new repertoire that includes classic rock, folk, and
adult alternative music.


2-4 pm
The Michele Fay Band - is a Vermont based, acoustic quartet that features original and roots music. Michele’s heartfelt lyrics are central to the ensemble, which brings forth a comfortable groove of folk, swing, and bluegrass-influenced songs that are woven seamlessly together. Michele sings with a clear, authentic voice accompanied by guitar and banjo, while her husband, Tim Price, adds ideal melodic instrumentals on mandolin and guitar. Classically trained Doug Reid (Slant Six Swing Band, Rick
and the Ramblers) works his dazzling fiddle, and Michael Santosusso (Smokin’ Grass, Big Spike Bluegrass) provides tenor harmonies and drives a dynamic beat with upright bass.
